Women have been an integral part of fishing for centuries, and their contributions to the sport are invaluable. By supporting lady anglers, we not only celebrate their passion and dedication but also create a more inclusive and diverse fishing community. Strengthening their presence on the water inspires future generations of women to plunge into new adventures and explore a world previously seen as a male-dominated territory.

We are extremely lucky here in Australia to have numerous organizations that nurture our lady anglers to ensure that we can be THE best anglers we can possibly be.

As well as Women’s Recreational Fishing League (WRFL), you can also connect with Women in Recreational Fishing & Boating (WIRFAB) based in Victoria and Women in Recreational Fishing Network Qld (WIRFNQ).

WRFL has groups on Facebook dedicated to each State in which you can connect with likeminded fellow lady anglers and share your catches, experiences, fishing stories and learn from others sharing the same. WIRFAB & WIRFNQ also have dedicated groups.
